After a first career as a psychologist, I followed my bliss and started Swallow Creek Productions in 1999. My mission was to “honor the wild things and those who care for them” using the most powerful medium on the planet. My dream was to help endangered species.
I bought a camera and learned to edit from the very best teachers, and in 2001 my dream came true when I produced a documentary on the efforts to save the endangered Catalina Island Fox. An amazing experience with a happy ending. In 2016, the foxes’ status was changed from endangered to threatened, and they are now thriving on their island home.
Over the years, my award-winning work expanded to document the passions of artists and other creatives. Other wild things, in their own way.
I hope you enjoy your visit.
